She is a senior tutor in cello at the Royal Northern College of Music, where she taught Gabby Waite and Katharine Wood, our recent "Munster" recitalist. Margaret Fingerhut is well-known at the BRMC. She is a professor at the Royal Northern College, and has appeared as soloist with all the major British orchestras. She is equally in demand as a soloist as an accompanist. Her last visit to Club was in October 2000, but we first met her many years before, when she accompanied violinist Bradley Creswick.
