Andrew Kennedy has had a recent success as winner of the first Handel Singing Competition. This is his latest achievement in a career already packed with highlights. From being Head Chorister at Durham Cathedral, he now is a regular soloist with Trevor Pinnock and the English Consort and with the King's Consort. He appeared on BBC's "Carols from Kings" two years running. He is equally at home with Handel operas and Porgy and Bess.

James Longford was born in 1977 on the Isle of Wight, and gained a first class degree at the Royal College of Music, where he won all the piano accompaniment prizes. He was also organ scholar at St Martin-in-the-Fields. He also sings with the London-based chamber choir, Gaudium.
