The Rachmaninov String Quartet, based in the Philharmonic Hall in Sochi in the South of Russia, was founded in 1978, since when they have given over 2500 recitals all over the world. They have recorded many CDs during the 1990s, culminating in "The Russian Soul". We welcome them to West Sussex as part of their UK 2001 Tour.
