Katherine Wood studied at the Royal College of Music with William Pleeth and Ralph Kirshbaum. She was an award winner in the Jacqueline du Pre Duo
Competition, and was a finalist in the BBC Young Musician of the Year
Competition in 1996. She has performed at the QEH and the Barbican, and has
performed Brahms Double Concerto with her sister Helena, both in England and
in Italy. She has performed with the London Mozart Players in St John's,
Smith Square, and had a master class with Steven Isserliss. Katherine will
be recording her debut CD this year.
Silvia Fraser studied at the Eastman School of Music, New York. She is the
official pianist at the Banff Centre and the Vancouver Cello Club. She has
performed internationally, visiting Canada, the USA, Mexico, Holland,
Norway, and the UK. Her fluency in English, French and Spanish is
particularly valuable in her work with singers.
